Death.
After the tears, after the healing, all that’s left are memories. Memories in the heart. Memories in the mind. Memories in a cardboard box.
Her smile, forever frozen in a framed image. Her fav junk jewellery. The perfume she liked. Her fav t-shirt. All that I could remember her by, I kept.
Tragic isn’t it that all that’s left are mere objects … But she’s gone.
Memories in a cardboard box …
All I will ever have are these memories.

All life forms are intelligent. All life forms communicate with each other. All life forms perceive the other life forms in their own unique way.
There are billions of life forms on this planet and each views the other differently. Wow. There’s an awesome intelligence, an awesome energy force behind all this and it is inconceivable for me to understand what it is.
I salute you oh great life force giver. Take me under your wings and let me grow in your shadow, for even that will be a far brighter place than where I am right now.
The question then is, do the other life forms even have a consciousness of this great force, this great energy?
I do. A lot of people around me do. All 5 billion or more of them. But do the animals? I don’t know. Maybe it’s because they have limited free will. I don’t see random acts in the animal, non-human world. They seem to operate under a set of rules and live by that code all their lives.
Unlike us humans. Well, some humans. The sad part is that most other humans follow the animal world rules and don’t think and don’t use their free will to progress and just plod along on life’s highway, unseen, unsung and weary, not realising they have the power to change things.
We have the power to harness nature and all the wonders that come with it. “Use that power and break free”, a voice commands me. It’s a different voice from that electronic squawk box that passes commentary on events that happen around me. “You can do it”.
I can do it.
A traveller sees the light, finally, and shoots off into the sky, breaking free from his self-built shackles, becoming a shining expression of spirit that makes the other souls look up at him in awe.

Oh masterful creator, I bow down before thee …
However,
In trying to find thee,
My mind now resembles a scrambled egg!
Oh! The frustration of not getting an answer …
Please put me out of this misery and tell me
Who and what art thee?
And why have thee created this?
Amen.

The woman I fancy from across the bay
Marry me one day she may
If only her religion
Would permit such a cohabitation
Then I’d dance to the altar all the way

… Kept me riveted on her face. So young, yet she’s seen so much, I thought. The slight smile on her face hinted, perhaps a bit mockingly, of a defiance, of a resolve, to move out of her environs and become someone else.

Somehow reading it on a menu as Split Peas with Shallots Curry doesn’t sound the same. Or Hot Lentil Soup.
And this pisses me off.
Because the average Joe would think he’s ordering PUKE and quickly stick with his safe alternate – the infernal burger.
So c’mon you restaurateurs, get accurate with your descriptions, be a little imaginative too.
Don’t belittle this soul food.
In praise of Sambhar.
Please!

Life’s evolution is in phases:
From the core of a recently born and germinated earth, life moved out to land billions of years ago.
Then the environment changed and water dominated almost all of the mass on the earth.
A lot of the life, the old life, got destroyed. New life-forms emerged that could swim in the new realm. The new realm called water.
In the transition phase, Life-forms / beings could go in and out of the two mediums. They were amphibious.
Then life conquered another dimension. It moved from water to land. From there it moved to the skies.
All these beings / life-forms evolved and bettered themselves to reach their zenith in that phase or period.
There were beings who ruled the two realms between every period. They could live in both environments or multiple environments as we do today.
This is why homo sapiens are the dominant beings today because we live and dominate many environments through the use of technology, knowledge and understanding
The next logical step is to move into space, as a new form of energy in a completely new body type, quite unlike the limitations of the current body.
It will be a body which will move, perhaps, by the power of thought. It will be a new life-form, which will be able to do much more than the current ‘supreme’ life-form, the life-form we call ‘homo sapien’.
Wonder how many dimensions there will be waiting to be discovered after we conquer space…
Maybe time will be the final frontier.
According to Hindu beliefs, the next phase in the evolution of life is that of Kalki: A being / life-form that can go anywhere in space and time

God, for the want of a better term to express this infinite and loving force and energy, has a perfectly amazing Soul Delivery System in place.
He churns billions upon billions of souls in to all sorts of shapes and forms, with all sorts of abilities and evolutionary levels, and then he churns them out of those forms.
And then he does it again. And again.
Or maybe not. Maybe there is no Soul Recycling, and our present form is just a one-off expression of Him. Even then, we come. Then we go. Where do we come from? Where do we go? Who am ‘I’?
How long has this been going on? How does he keep tabs of who is going where? How does he keep tabs of who is coming back? How does he do it? What is this force or energy? Who, or what, is God?
I just do not understand him.
Anyone know?
